I found this pretty interesting that there seems to be a link between sleep apnea and fibromyalgia.  Now that I think about it, it really does make perfect sense.

I know lots of people with sleep apnea. I can not think of any of them ever complaining about fibromyalgia. Just my personal experience. My father has sleep Apnea. He is in his 80's. He has worn a mask and used the breathing machine for his apnea for years,  last year he developed a fungus in his gut. They got this healed then they found cancer in his stomach, they removed the cancer and he has recently had his 3rd scope in a year and so far everything looks good, there were a few small spots they removed this last time but nothing to worry about.

I wondered out loud to him if the mask and machine (tubing) could of caused the fungus and possible predisposed him to stomache cancer...I got no real response..I can't help but think at least the fungus came from the machines tubing. He cleans it every morning, but he might not be doing a "great" job. I want him to get new tubing every 30 days, he is old school, has all sorts of money but doesn't want to waste good money on tubing that he thinks is just fine...sigh..I worry about him. He lives in Florida.
I know when my Granny was on Oxygen  Hospice changed her tubing every 30 days or more.

I know this is really not on topic, but it made me think about my dad. I miss him.
