We have a Dollar Tree store, and today I bought an apple dicer that cores and slices the apple, It was very easy to use with my painful stiff hands, I am pleased because I like to eat my apples sliced and this is much easier on my hands. The best part it works great and all for a buck!

Just thought Id share, in case anyone likes their apples slicedThat sounds great!! I love those stores and apples. Might have to get out and get me one.

Thanks for sharing.
Hi Tinks, and I just bought an apple slinky for (aus) cores and peels apples, Janie.  Wheres the shop when you need one? I love the dollar stores!  they're great for a lot of things but I end up getting a lot of my scrapbooking supplies there.
Just be careful with it.  About a month ago, I was using mine from the dollar store and the welds had broken.  Anyway, I ended up slicing the life out of my hand.  Man, that hurt bad.  I was bleeding all over the place.  Please be careful with it; my husband bought me a new one from Pampered chef.  It has nice cushioned grips for your hands and it isn't welded.  He just didn't want me to have another accident with one.  Hiking_galdidn't someone post on here about using an apple slicer for cutting potatoes????

I love Pampered Chef!!
Hi Babs,

Yeah the Pampered Chef has really nice products.  They are very durable and even though they are a bit expensive, I've never bought anything I didn't like.  I think someone who posts regularly did say they used the apple corer/slicer for potatoes.  Pretty good idea.  HG
I LOVE pampered chef.

I have the egg / veggie tray...they just discontinued it. You freeze the insert and it keeps your food cold.

I also have the hamburg chopper...breaks up the hamburg when you are cooking it.

My apple slicer has rubber handles, I will be careful though. Thanks for the tip Hiking_gal.
I will be extra careful now.

Hi Tink,

Yeah I have the hamburger chopper too.  I love to cook and am taking cake decorating classes.  It is a little hard on my hands though but I just take my time and give my hands a break.  Enjoy your day, HG
Don't think there are Dollar Tree stores in CA but looks good!!!!  We have 99 Cent Stores.Ok... here is something funny...

We use to have a 99 cent store... it went out of business. We now have a  tree and it is here to stay. LMAO!

So... does that mean people think if it is 99 cents it is cheap junk and if it comes from the  tree it is a better value? I mean... a penny more LOL!

I just thought it was funny. People let the 99 cent store go out of business but they are helping to keep the  tree here. LOL!
