Thanks for posting this. I registered with Medscape to read this article, as my opthamologist told me I now also have dry eye, and that it sounds like I'm a candidate for Sjogren's as well and should discuss the other symptoms with my RD. I didn't know until I read the article that Sjogren's is a differential diagnosis for neurological conditions, several years ago I was diagnosed with optic neuritis when my eyes gave me some trouble, I wonder now if the autoimmune stuff was brewing even then. Good information.
