I just had my second infusion yesterday and when I went to my regular doc for a check up and to get refills on my coreg he told me it looked like my right ear was pretty red. He gave me amoxicillin to take. Will this be okay since I just had a infusion and won't have another for 4 weeks now? I'm assuming that the infection should resolve without much complication right? Any input from folks on Remicade would be greatly appreciated here.
I think we caught this in time because my CBC was only 12,800 which is not bad taking the dose of prednisone I'm still on. (had to go back to 55mg for a little bit from 42.5 but am working back down) I don't really have a fever either, I'm actually running around normal whereas I usually run 97.9 so I'm not worried about that either.
