Remember in January when I posted about my horrible cardiologist appointment?
Well I have a follow up story.
A couple of days ago I was notified there is a manufacturing problem for one of my meds, and it is unavailable for the foreseeable future.
So on Tuesday when I was downtown I went into the cardiodoc's office, to get a new script. My regular nurse was there, and she took me into her office.
I told her about my experience and told her I would NOT see that dr or her nurse again. Annette took notes and told me she would make certain I saw another dr who is joining the practice, whom she knows to be very nice with a great bedside manner. Apparently my complaint was far from being the first complaint.
She spent a full 20 minute with me expressing her views on proper patient care. I thanked her profusely and she said to her thats her job.. She MUST take care of the emotional needs as well.
I felt so good She is a marvelous woman. And just before I left she checked my BP.. with zero changes from January in meds, weight or anything my bp was down to 90/58 from 148/100 at my bad appointment.
Wow what a wonderful woman!!
That's great!!!That is nice to hear. Great news Kathy, well done, JAnie.
Kathy - I always love to read about great doctors' appointments. Gives you hope. Cathy
