I told ya'll I did not have the damn flu! I went to my GP today and I have a sinus and ear infection! WOOHOO!!
I’d like to say something that has bothered me a little,
Please don't get offended, but doctors are human. I know sometime we get frustrated , especially when we are ill. When a doctor misses something and gets it wrong, it is human nature to blow it up and magnify the mistake. What I find disheartening is that when they get it right we just go “oh yeah“ ok give me my pill...etc.. I feel doctors need understanding, they are smart, and there are good doctors that have extraordinary personality and then there are not so "likeable” characters but are talented in their field none the less. My wish is to be a little easier on doctors, (and nurses) They are trained professionals, and remember we don't have to give them the "final" word on our health. But, I always give them my respect. I have never had a doctor disrespect me, I have seen one doctor that I would never go back to, mostly because I did not understand his English To Joonie, I am glad you got the medicine you need and deserve. I hope you are better soon. Great news about your mom. It is hard to be sick and know a family member needs you also. Take care, get better girl. Tink bob, Hugs to you. You are a very kind man. Thanks for the clarification of how you really feel. I struggled with even saying anything, but it isn't just this post, I have read quite a few post, I realize that people are scared and frustrated, I just felt compelled tonight. Could be I want a cigarette and don't have any...because I QUIT!!!!....argh.. Repeats to self...I am a quitter..I am a quitter...I am a quitter...(I feel for you there too. My wife quit smoking a good while back and she was miserable for a long time. It's been 10+ years and she still sneaks one every now and again. (she thinks I don't know but I can tell) I know the last thing any of us wants is another pill, but in the end she had to rely on Wellbutrin to help her but she did eventually kick the habit.
