Oh my goodness.....called my son last night for his bday...he is now 29. I told him he makes me feel really old knowing he is 29. He just laughed. HE was excited and thrilled because he got to be with his 5 yr old daughter yesterday for his bday.HE had to tell me all about it and I was nearly in tears for his joy. Time flies by so quickly doesn't it?IT hss been nearly 5 years since I lived in Indiana and since I have seen my son.

THat's all, just had to share with the AI world that my babyboy is now 29.....I figure if I say it enough and write it down enough it will sink into my head....it is so hard to believe he is that old now.

An aging Jode

I understand how you feel...my son will be 28 this year and I think the same thing...making me feel old.  Happy Birthday to your son, Jode!

Hey I forgot about your granddaughter...when will you be getting a chance to see her?

Happy, happy birthday to youuuuu! Happy, happy birthday, Jode's son!  :o)
I think I've watched too much noggin today with the baby. The birthday song is in my head. hehe

lol....oh the kid shows.....I finally have gotten to the point where I get DVD's from the library for some variety! We are working on hand signs and vowel sounds. THe other night Jarek was singing what sounded like "AEIOU" it was so sweet!

It is difficult when they get older but I just cannot help but be so pleased that he has turned into a mature, quite bright young man.

Dunno if I will ever be able to see Tessa. HE rarely gets to see her and since I am so far away when he does get her I cannot bop over for hugs. HE talks to her about me and shows my pic to her so maybe she will kind of know me...that is what is so difficult, she may never know me. But, that is the way it goes, I gave all that up and soooooo much more when Tim adn I parted and I left Indiana. I lost so much that year.

On the upside.....my son is himself again adn I am so very proud of him!
