I understand you feel like crap. I hope it goes away soon!

Man, reading your post sounds so familiar, it sounded as if I wrote it word for word.  I am going through exactly what you are.  I dont go back to the RD until the 26th, not sure the visit is gonna be much help anyway.  Other non-RA people have no idea what we are going through and I hate when they say, Aw just suck it up!  We suck it up everyday just to get on with life, they have no clue.  I hope you find something soon that gives you some relief and remember we are all here when you need to vent.Sorry you are feeling so poorly Little Mermaid. It's so hard not to be understood.
Hope you feel better soon!
sorry you are hurting mermaid. I hope you feel better soon! Any chance of getting an earlier appointment? Maybe a cancellation? It happens all the time at my Rheumy's due to referrals not going through in time.Hi Litle Mermaid, maybe you need a pred pack, just an idea, good luck, regards Janie. Are you feeling any better?hey, ehhhh not so much but im dealingIs it Spring Break lil'mermaid? My son is on his way home now.  Hope you'll have a chance to go home and have mom take care of you a little bit!

You need a break! I don't think you've had any good days lately, have you? I'm sorry this disease is being so hard on you right now. Have you spoke with your doc? It might be time to get one of those medrol packs (if you can handle the med; unfortunately it's one I can't tolerate). What are you plans for spring break? If not home... perhaps somewhere with a hot tub?

I hope things get better for you quickly. Keep your chin up and let us know how you're doing. We want you feeling better asap!

edited to add: I apologize for the medrol reference. You didn't want to hear that. Dof.

thanks! im wierd, heat is good for me, like hottub and rice bags, but hot weather seems to get me, i think its the humidity.....HI Littlemermaid, the main thing I like about my bed is my electric blanket, it is the only thing that gives me relief sometimes, try it, regards Janie.  PS  You might be better off telling your friends when your joints don't hurt!  Then they might realise it is chronic pain, ie relentless! Totally relate. It is maddening. Tramadol's effects wore off for me after a few days of using it -- I need to stop taking it for a while before it will work again. I've gotten minor relief from tylenol arthritis, but when flaring up, generally feel crappy most of the time, too, with good understanding from my friends and none from my family. It is VERY difficult to deal with -- hang in there!! Hope you are better by now.
