Spring sprung!!! | Arthritis Information

I had my first hummer yesterday!  Dh spotted him and I raced in to dig out the feeder.  As I was hanging it, here he came and he drank while I was holding the feeder!  Seems early to me, but then I can't believe we have already raced through the year to March!  I feel so behind.

We are expecting heavy, spring storms on Wed., we need rain sooooo badly.   We have had less than 18" in 18 months now.    I love spring , all my bulbs are coming through and the mornings are geting lighterWe have a stupid frog that makes this weird "whislting" noise all day and all night! I was so hoping that Mopsey would have just ate the frog by now! The frog starts out makingits noise out there by the pool and then by 3am it is outside my window making its noise and as I am laying here... I keep having flash backs of Gizmo off Germlins making that singing sound. That is what the sound the frog makes sounds like, except it is not as "pretty" and is very irritating... kinda like nails on a chalk board!

My hubby told me I was having auditory hallucinations. Because he kept telling me he did not hear the stupid frog. I knew he did. He was just trying to make me think I was going loonie.
Snow, hummers are magical!  They glitter like little fairies and it was almost like holding one in my rheummy hand! My daughter loves this hummingbird that frequents our yard. So... for christmas... I bought he a webkinz hummingbird, that kinda resembled the one that is always in the front yard when she is waiting for the bus in the morning time. She loved it. She cannot wait for the hummingbird to come back to being in season. Hee hee Joonie!  I hear things DH doesn't all the time.  He teases because I can hear the bats squeak when they are about.  My most hated nighttime critter is a common black cricket!  I swear, I will burn the house down to get rid of one at night!  (If I couldn't find it to give it a good shoe smacking first that is!)

Waddie...

All I can figure is that Dh stands for darling husband... is it?

I'm hoping it's not the opposite D word.

CathyMarie

wow  Hummers already?? Where ARE you?

I cant wait. My feeders got pretty well knocked around this winter. I have to replace 2 of them.
I need all new  hummer feeders too. Last summer I had one that kept landing in my spider plant..  they are so wonderful.

WOW!  My hummers are shivering today!  We had a front blow through (barely enough rain to settle the dust  CathyMarie, sometimes it does mean damn husband. Just depends on who is doing the talking!

I saw a hummingbird this Dec while we were in CA. It scared me because I had never seen one before and I thought it was some freak bug attacking!
