Does anyone have any experience of this drug - my wife has started a
trial and we are not sure if she has the placebo or not - does anyone
know how long it takes for it to take effect?

I personally do not have experience with Abatacept, one of the new T-cell co-stimulation modulators. However, if you register at www.rafriends.com website, there is a much larger membership there and you would have better chances of finding some info.
However, in the interest of the clinical trial, often it's best not to divulge this type of info, since it can have an effect on the outcome of the trial.
