Behold my 1-handed typing talent!

This morning I went to urgent care at the advice of RD's nurse (my RD is out on maternity leave.) My wrist is swollen, red and the hurts worse than pre-injection plus I've had fevers

Hope you guys are having a superfantastic and extra-comfortable day!

PS - It took forever to type this.

I hope you start to feeling better soon. That way it won't be an infection.

Hugs to you!
Oh mel, that blows! Definitely try a shamrock shake. That's dr. Leila's prescription! I hope you are feeling much better tomorrow. Hugs!shake, khula, cream , vicodian!!
hOpe things get better!!
hugs
Mel, sorry you are having a rough time.  I hope tomorrow brings better things.  I hate it when I have RA in my hands and wrist... easier to hobble on bad feet that to type one-handed! Mel....I remember when I could only type with my thumbs, which oddly, are not bothersome to me at all. It's a challenge. I think you're doing great!

Since I got RA, I suddenly developed severe drug allergies so cannot take cortisone shots. But before that, I had them in my feet which didn't help at all, and in a hip with bad bursitis which was A Miracle. I'll never forget painfully limping into the dr office and walking normally and painfree out of it (and it lasted for 12 years until RA started).  If I didn't go into anaphylactic shock from steroids, I would definitely try it again.

Good luck to you.  I hope you feel better soon.

Mel... sorry you're having such a tough go..... hang in.. it's gonna get better!!Aw Mel, that's no fun.  I hope you woke up today and it has improved so you don't have to go back.  I agree, you do pretty well for a one-pecker typer :)  Huggles and take care ~~ CathyHello, everyone! Thank you so much for the well wishes, encouragement and support. It's very much appreciated.

I still had fevers today but the wrist feels much better. I've been diligent in taking my naproxen and vicodin and I'm going to ice it again after I get done here. There are still some red spots on the top and at the inside of my wrist which I figure are from the site reaction. I tried (painfully) bending it a little here and there, but my range of motion is extremely limited. If anyone has attended PT and/or knows some wrist strengthening excerises, I'd be really interested. I'm gonna do a google search as well, but figured first hand experiences would be a bonus.

Thank you again for all the
