My son sent this to me knowing I needed a lift.  Extreme sheep herding anyone?

I missed that Letterman!  I have been to several sheep dog trials and they are a delight to watch!  They kept a small kiddie pool outside the arena and the dogs would dive in after their run.  They are so smart! Snow, you're right about that.  We had a herding dog for 16 years and what a joy she was.  When she was young she herded small objects, like our 3  cats.  The cats hated to be herded but they let her get away with it.     She's been known to herd people at a party.  The one time she was out in the field, she ran away, very frightened of the milk cow......I guess her herding limits were small objects and people.  I miss her terribly.  LindyI forgot, I loved it.  Who was having more fun - the sheep, the dogs, or the owners.  LindyThat was so cool - I loved it Waddie!  Thanks for posting it!

We used to have a sheltie that tried to herd airplanes!  He would see one and take off running, looking at the sky barking, LOL!  He was a hero too, ran and got help when our old, old dog fell in our pool.  Ran and got my dad, barking and pulling at his pants leg to get him to come and fish his buddy out of the pool!
