I missed that Letterman! I have been to several sheep dog trials and they are a delight to watch! They kept a small kiddie pool outside the arena and the dogs would dive in after their run. They are so smart!
Snow, you're right about that. We had a herding dog for 16 years and what a joy she was. When she was young she herded small objects, like our 3 cats. The cats hated to be herded but they let her get away with it. She's been known to herd people at a party. The one time she was out in the field, she ran away, very frightened of the milk cow......I guess her herding limits were small objects and people. I miss her terribly. LindyI forgot, I loved it.
