Welcome, B!  Sorry you had to find us, but glad you're here. We're all in the same boat and feel your pain - literally. Ask any questions and *someone* will have an answer for ya or at least be able to tell you what their experience is/was. Being newly diagnosed is overwhelming, but we've been there and are here to offer you support and encouragement. Feel free to vent as well. We ALL have those days! However, I hope today is superfantastic and extra-comfortable one for you! Again, welcome to the boat!Welcome! When you are ready and have digested your news we'll be here for you in any way you need. I too am sorry you need to join us. You are already way smarter than me. It took me 7 years of being alone with this disease to even think to look for a forum of such support and information. These people are great!

Welcome! I'm sorry that you have to be here....but you couldn't find a better place to start learing what this things all about.

You'll learn more on your own than your doctor will ever tell you. It's in your best interest to educate yourself. I think my doctor is shocked at times at my knowledge of this disease. It helps our relationship I think. I don't just blindly do what my doctor says....If I don't understand something; I ask. Rarely....if ever do I leave the doctors office wondering about anything. I question....question and question some more.

Glad you're here.
Welcome
