My RD Visit | Arthritis Information

Well it was a first visit. He asked alot of questions. I did like this doctor. He seems to really spend more time asking all of the right questions. Of course he has to go over all of my films and is ordering more bloodwork.

I think he is leaning more towards biologics. But it will be a little while before we get to that. He wants to actually see the films and not just the reports from the radiologist.

I wish I new what I had. LOL That is I have more stuff going on than just RA and Sjorgrens and fibro. Well thats what they all say. I would like to know what it is. I think I have enough stuff. I don't know how they could tell because I have enough going on to affect my whole body. So how could you tell?
Well I guess it keeps things interesting. Personality wise I like this doctor. He explains things well. He seems concerned. He believes me when I tell him something. He treated me with respect. He works for Mayo Clinic so I am pretty confident that he is a good doctor.
He is going on vacation and will call me when he gets back. All of my films and test should be back by then. He said he may order more. He wants to look at what I had done recently and go from there.
Wow I went to the doctor and I came home in a good mood. LOL Thats a first. Also I like the fact that he himself will call me back instead of nurse. That way if I have a question I won't have to hang by the phone for two days to get an answer. A tad more expensive but worth it I think.
Hi Milly, seems like you're off to a good start with this doctor.  Sometimes we have to take matters into our own hands and do what we feel is best for us and it sounds like you did it.  Keep us posted.  Lindygood stuff, milly!!  I'm glad to hear this positive!!
I'll be anxious to hear what he says when he gets a look at everything!!
Glad to hear about your positive visit! Liking and having trust in your doctor makes all the difference!
Glad to hear about your positive visit! Liking and having trust in your doctor makes all the difference!
Ditto. I think it can make a positive outcome in your over all health outcome too.
