Much better today. | Arthritis Information
Last night every molecule in my body was in extreme pain. The pain meds didn't touch it. I also have a sore throat that came out of no where. I hope it isn't strep. Always on a Friday evening it seems. I am babysitting the girls for the week so bad timing. I guess it must have been a bad fibro attack. I could not even hardly walk last night.
I hate going to bed in such bad condition. You just assume the next day will be impossible. My throat still hurts. I have some joint pain. But alot better than last night.
Wishful thinking but i wonder if you can get fibro of the throat? Well I did not think I could be thankful to just feel like my misserable self. LOL But last night reminded me that things could be alot worse.
I had a wrist cramp and a cramp in the palm of my hand. So that got my attention. I am lucky in the fact that my hands seldom swell. It is never any fun. I mean it has been a year scince my hands swelled really bad. Usually it is my feet ankles and shoulder and knees. I hope it was just a fleating fibro thing. I had a dizzy moment also. That has not been a problem for a long time. I used to hug the wall in the hall way on a daily basis. So time will tell.
My son is here to help me with the girls. The freezer and the fridge are stocked for the week. So I can take it easy if I need to.
I think I will go do the dishes and take a nap or watch a movie. Feels like a good day to take it easy.
Milly - boy, you get it all, don't you. With Kathy's recent illness and at work all my co-workers' kids are sick with throat viruses turning into bronchitis (inflammation), maybe you just picked up a bug and you are sick whatever is going around in your part of the world. Perhaps you need to go in to your general practitioner and see if its bacterial or not and if so, gets some antibiotics.
I haven't been sick in decades with anything other than my RA. My hubby regularly comes down with a cold at least once a year from the snowbirds arriving, and I never catch it from him.
I am in a discussion with another poster in here about how its strange that say alot of us don't come down with the common cold or flus going around. Or alot of us have high blood pressure, and very few are okay, etc., etc. The discussion is going around it being genetic, and that's why all of us get our own special version of RA, which affects what we catch.
Take a nap, watch a movie - you deserve it! Take care ~~ Cathy
Milly, I hope you take it nice and easy this weekend. Sometimes, I swear, the fibro takes the cake! I always feel worse at night with the fibro. When I tried pain meds, they never touched the fibro pain. Funny, I have the same issue with my hands... not usually swelling but cramping, UGH!
I hope you day only gets better from here, Milly. I am humming for you still!
