I'm new at this forum stuff,but I need to have a support group. So i'm saying hello. I have been diagnosed with fibro a couple of years ago. We have moved to a 3rd world developing country. I love our new home but it is pretty hard on me. I take trazadone and soma at night, neurontin 1800mg throughout the day. darvocet when i have to, which has been alot recently. I have been in a flare up for 4 months, I broke out with the shingles and it has been down hill since. Sorry to be so down the first time I write. I look forward to meeting you all.
Hello Nita and welcome. I too have Fibro and RA. Sorry to hear you are having a flare. Have you had a lot of stress in the past months? I ask that because I am told by my rheumy that it is the evil cause of flares. But sometimes we cant avoid it.
If you need additional support you can go to www.rafriends.com and there are others with Fibro there. it is an RA site but I dont htink they mind having some "fibromites" join.

Hi Nita I too have fibro and you will find this board isn't much help for support.I tried to get it booming a time or two with no luck. Lesle and I have tried I should say. You can PM me if you need to talk as I am 33 have three kids and live in USA.I been diagnosed since 99 and hope I can be of some help to you. You do need friends who know what you go through when you have fibro. I am curious to know where you moved from?
