Ha!!! Made you look...lol

Hello everyone, I am back from our trip. It was wonderful. I am very tired, but it was all worth it. I had pain and stiffnes issues, but I did have my pain meds and I had to use them more often than usual. I wonder if it being a sea level caused extra pain? Anyhow, I enjoyed my husbands attention for the duration of the trip..now I will have to share him with his work...but in nine weeks we are going on a family cruise...My father and Mother is taking all of my siblings and spouses on a eastern caribbean cruis out of Miami...so I get to go back in 9 weeks...I feel like a lucky girl and I am blessed.

Funny how I missed reading here everyday. Glad I am home and hope everyone is doing better today than yesterday....and better tomorrow than today...

P.S. I swam everyday...I can tell such a huge differance....you guys kick my butt if I do not keep up the swimming...I had got away from it..but I recommend it for EVERYONE..no matter what stage...the water is very healing and forgiving on our joints.
Welcome home,  No smoking has been a trial...I admit to a few slips...but I currently have no cigarettes...I "bummed" a cigarette while laying by the pool..I do not know what I was thinking, but I am moving forward..It is the hardest thing in the world. One thing is some food taste better and other food taste to strong...kind of strange. It is a journey. Thanks Waddie for asking.

Good to be back!

Glad you are back, Tink! And happy to hear you had such a good time!

Ah, sun, surf, sand, and undivided attention an unbeatable combination! Tans look good but alot of sun can cause cancer.  I know I was a sun lover and have had skin cancer,  basal cell and squamous cell.  Be careful.Jan, you are so right.
When I was young, it was a symbol of good health to be tan and I had serious chronic illnesses and wanted to at least look healthy. As a teenager, I was a California "beach bunny" with the long blond hair and great tan. During my twenties, newly married, we lived in the Florida Keys, mostly in the water and on boats so no more sunbathing necessary. Later, in thirties, in northern California, we had a swimming pool. Now, I've had surgeries done multiple times for skin cancer. If we had only known back then! I did much better with my daughters, sunscreen, no sunbathing, no tanning booths... just some sun everyday for vit D and a little color and phony tans from sprays. They are much more aware of protecting themselves.

CathyMarie-  We fair skinned people do need to be careful of the sun.  We glamorize the tanned look but in reality it can be dangerous.  I love to be outside but usually stay in the shade.
