My mom bought me a better cane yesterday! We went to a medical supply place because I wanted some kind of cushy cover for the handle. I have to hold on with my thumb (not fingers) and lean on the heel of my hand. Those bones are so sore. Hubby was going to make a cover for me, but my mom suggested asking if there's one already invented, to save him the time and trouble. Apparently there isn't... I feel another invention coming on. So, she got me a new cane, a not too expensive . It has a cushy handle, a curve at the top part which seems to make it easier as well as ability to hook it onto the the pew in front of me at church-nice! Off the handle is a loop strap for my wrist so I will never drop it again and I found out last night at the movies, that it's great for hanging off the purse hook in the restroom stall-nice again! It's adjustable so today, hubby lowered it for me... I'm hoping that reduces my shoulder pain. And if all that wasn't enough... it is a pretty pink! Thanks, Mom!
