drug side effect? | Arthritis Information

I have been having stomach problems for several weeks now, and it is getting worse by the day.  It was just discomfort, but now I feel like I'm going to throw up nearly every time I eat.

I've had major life changes:  Moved from georgia to boston, bitter cold climate, new job, big move to new apartment, lots of stress.

I'm on plaquenil, enbrel, folic acid, topomax. aleve (as needed).  Could it be one of these drugs?  my diet is bad:  processed foods, soda, sugar.  but my reactions to food are getting worse and daily.

I had tested intolerant to gluten thru a stool test a while back, but then my blood test came up fine.

any thoughts?

Plaquenil can cause nausea and vomiting, especially in the beginning.  Aleve can cause gastric irritation, GERD, ulcers, etc.  Add to that a good dose of stress and you've got the makings for some serious GI distress.  Please see a doctor soon - there are treatments available and you'll be feeling better in no time.  I speak from experience!  I know first-hand how a diet of naproxen, coffee and stress can cause stomach and intestinal unrest.  After an upper GI, the doc put me on Prevacid and took away the coffee and naproxen (but left me with the stress!). Worked like a charm.
