For about a week now I have been waking up repeatedly in the night with a dry mouth. Top is glued to the bottom in a manner of speaking. Rinsing/drinking water helps until the next time it makes me wake up. I am not so dry throughout the day only at night. Not to blame every ailment on RA but this never happened pre RA. Has anyone else had this? Did it go away?  no, it doesn't go away... At least not for me.

I developed secondary Sjogrens syndrome.. and that was one of my first symptoms.. That, and dry burning eyes..

I drink so much water (or did til I medicated w/ salagen) that I woke every night to go to the bathroom..

Best to you mom.
I had a very similar problem.  My RD and dentist recommended I try Biotene tootpaste and mouth rinse
