Hello | Arthritis Information

I joined several years ago but I forgot my login so I just re-registered. Since then I have developed Lymphoma Cancer. Is there anyone else on here dealing with cancer and cancer treatment?

I found a lump on my left collar bone next to my neck and my Rheumy was very concerned and ordered a CT SCAN. She did an xray in the office also. I have never seen the results of a CT passed on to the Doc so fast, one day! Wow, she called and wanted me to come in for a consult on Monday, this was on a Friday. Left us wondering all weekend. Us is my Wife, Donna. I tried not to think about it, but it was impossible not to. Everyone kept saying"' it is nothing, do not worry about it". Easy to say.

Anyway to make it short she came out finally and said the "C"word. She referred me to an ENT, and he beat around the bush and said this is probably bad, which I said "Oh you mean Cancer? He shook his head and stared at the floor, Donna was crying again. But finally he was able to talk about it. He is doing a Biopsey this Friday on my left Tonsil, which is where he suspects it started. There are several tumors in my neck as well.

I have lost 30lbs in 2 months. I tire out, get head aches and shoulder pain as well. I am anemic as well.

Well enough of the complaining. Let me know if you have Cancer or are a Survivor.
