There is a calculator on this site that you can plug your numbers into. After watching the video Lynn posted yesterday on Management of RA- when I get home I think I'm going to see what I'm coming at with.

wanttobeRAfree2009-04-02 09:27:06Thanks wanttobeRAfree!

I got low disease activity doing it two ways for my daughter.....but I'm not sure the CRP was the right format  for it.  Her sedrate is normal.  Different labs have different 'normal' CRP numbers, it seems like, like they use different scales.  I know I can't compare her results on that one if they are done at a different place, but it is always high.
Maybe you can compare it using the ESR formula?
Maybe you can compare it using the ESR formula?
I did that one - low disease activity there, too, but since her sedrate is normal, that wasn't 'news'.  I'd like to know for sure on the CRP, too!
Thanks WTB, this will help loads!

How do you calculate the VAS? I couldn't find the scale or explanation.

If I don't answer that part, my level is moderate.

This may have been posted before but it may be helpful if you want to keep track of how many tender joints you have...
