Feeling a little better now | Arthritis Information

Well its been a solid 3 weeks but today I woke up at 630 and have stayed up.
I'm not coughing finally, and not getting the afternoon fevers.

Maybe the worst is over. I'm still really really tired, but  not like before.  Gosh I hate pneumonia.

Oh and my older sister is home, the surgery to repair her bowel went fine, and my brother will be on Monday. Turns out he had a gangrenous gallbladder.

Soooooooooo things are looking up.
Hello Kathy. Its great that you are feeling better. Pneumonia wipes you out completely.

I wish you a good weekend x
I'm glad to read you are feeling better and that things are going well for your family too

Take care and try not to overdo...........
Yes please take it easy now that you are feeling better- you don't want to relapse!

That's great news, Kathy...glad the 3 of you are doing so much better!

Great new: heed the advice to pace yourself and get better every day.

Best wishes, Shug
I'm so glad you're feeling better! I'm sure you will continue to be tired for a while. It takes some time to get all of your energy back after having pneumonia. Be sure you get enough rest while you are getting your strength back.

I'm so glad to hear that your sister and brother are doing better. Maybe it will remove some of the stress and you  will be able to heal faster.

Be well!
Hugs, Nini
Great news.  I never realized how much pneumonia wiped you out until my son was diagnosed with double pneumonia on his bday.  Took him 2 months to really get over it.  He continued to run fevers in the afternoon for about a month.  Really caused a problem with daycare.  The dr. wrote a note stating he was not contagious.

Don't overdo it!!!  I remember my son took a 3 hour nap. He said he had been to "Wiggly" while watching the Wiggles.   So, No Wiggles for You!!!
glad to hear you are feeling a little better and about your siblings.

hope all a speedy recovery!
Kathy, that's great news!   Good news indeed.  I am glad you have turned a corner with your health and with your family.  Take care ~~ CathyKathy, how wonderful for your and your family!  I know this has to be doing you  a ton of good knowing they are going to be okay!  Please to take extra care of yourself, I had a relapse of pneumonia and it took twice as long to feel better.  Do be careful.
