OT- I am playing hooky today | Arthritis Information

We have lots of company in town. Everyone went to Daytona Beach today. I said I was not up to it. Truthfully I don't think I would have been up to it if I didn't have RA. I just think going to Daytona Beach during spring break is an insane idea. Just to crouded to take a bunch of kids and a five month old baby.

We went to Jacksonville Beach yesterday. We couldn't find a parking place for forever. It was so super crouded. We had to walk past a zillion drunks with the kids. It was to cold. Going to the bathroom was next to impossible.

Just call me anti social. LOL I was beat by the time we got home last night. Well only have the company till Tuesday morning. Things should resume to the normal havoc of daily life.

Anyway I do like them don't get me wrong. The other Grandparents, one of there daughters her husband and baby. So we finally paved our way to the beach yesterday. I sat down on the blanket and they handed me the baby. The babies parents wanted to go swimming and the babies grandparents wanted to hunt for seashells.

If you hand me a baby I am trapped. My right arm can not lift things. It isn't a matter of how important it is. I can not hand the baby back to you. So there we sat.

Anyway I think I made the right decision I had a bit of the runs today. So standing in line at portapotties would have been a nightmare. My shoulders and lower back are acting up and my left thumb feels like it is broken. So I stayed home and did laundry all day. I think they will all think of me as a hero when they come home. I have a stack of clean towels and warm pajamas all ready for them.
