HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF GENACOL? | Arthritis Information

Hello,  I am a new member here.  I have OA and Fibromyalgia and after some knee surgery docs are fairly certain I have RSD in my left knee/leg.  In any event, I am in constant pain and have been thru many injections, meds, PT, etc. without much help.  I was recently informed about a supplement for Arthritis called GENACOL.  The person who told me said she could not go up stairs, open jars etc. and now that she takes this she can run up the stairs etc. and is pain free.  Has anyone had any experience with this?  Here is where you can read about it: http://www.genacol.ca/en/index.php/genacolr/genacolr-revolution-in-the-world-of-collagen-.html  Thanks, hope to hear your comments.

Hi donnatk!  Sorry you were searching for this type of forum... but glad you're here.. There's a wealth of knowledge..

I must say though, I had to google RSD. http://www.arc.org.uk/arthinfo/patpubs/6035/6035.asp

I hope you find information and comfort among this group.
Best to you,
Babs

Sure, I have heard of it and like nearly everything else that is too good to be true I looked closely at these, and other, collagen supplements. Frankly, I am not as impressed with the literature as others might be. However, it has been my experience that the only way to know whether or not a supplement works is to try it. There is also a well-earned caveat that says what works for one may not work for another.

However... ... ...I wonder if this is an appeal to buy the product rather than an appeal for assistance. Skeptical? Who? Me?

Yeah, Geneacol looks like all those internet-marketed miracle cures.  I wouldn't waste my money on it.  getouttahere!!!!!!!!
