Not sure if you've seen this yet, but my sister sent the link to me.   What a wonderful seven minutes.  Laughter, tears and goose bumps all in one sitting.

Cathy
That has been the hot topic on messageboards, radio, television since Monday here in NZ!!

She was a revelation and I wish her the best for the final.
she's such a pleasant surprise........

that's my favorite song from my favorite opera.........
Her name is Susan Boyle, and if you just google "Susan" that link to her performance appears.  She beautifully sang "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Mes -- what a dream come true for her if she wins.

Call me what you want but I have seen that have a dozen times and I cannot help but cry.

The person, the voice, she reaches into my soul and the emotions flow like the river to the sea.
I love the video, and her story.  She has lived at home with her mother all of her life.  Her mom died a couple of years ago, and before she died made her promise she would do something with her life.  So that's why she went to Britain's Got Talent, for her mother.  She's never been kissed and has lived a very quiet, simple life - until now.  Her life will never be the same.  Simon has said that no whether she wins on the show or not, he is offering her a recording contract![QUOTE=Bodak]Call me what you want but I have seen that have a dozen times and I cannot help but cry.

what would we call you, Stephen, but sympatico?
She was great but look up Paul Potts on the same show   UNREALI cried all the way through it.

I'm sure she's been very lonely these last couple of years, i hope now a whole new world opens up for her.  I'm sure it will.
The youtube video of her singing is up to 11 million hits! Absolutely amazing. What talent. What grace!  I hope she wins!  I will be following her progress.I saw that clip too and gotta say it gave me goose bumps. I could watch it so many times and it would always give me gose bumps. I wish her all the best. I saw her on Good Morning America and she is awesome. So humble. I have never seen Simon Cowell smile that much on American Idol's all the seasons combined.
Awesome!
I loved that Youtube clip with Susan Boyle.  My all time hero right now is Paul Potts.  He has a new Youtube video here.  It is awesome.

Cry Me A River
Beautiful is a tiny word compared to her voice.  Thanks Shug.

I sat DH down last night to see the British Idol video.  My big, old salt of the earth, German/Irish man got a lump in his throat and tears in his eyes (me too!).

What a voice to touch so many.
