Her name is Susan Boyle, and if you just google "Susan" that link to her performance appears. She beautifully sang "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Mes -- what a dream come true for her if she wins.

I love the video, and her story. She has lived at home with her mother all of her life. Her mom died a couple of years ago, and before she died made her promise she would do something with her life. So that's why she went to Britain's Got Talent, for her mother. She's never been kissed and has lived a very quiet, simple life - until now. Her life will never be the same. She was great but look up Paul Potts on the same show UNREALI cried all the way through it.
I'm sure she's been very lonely these last couple of years, i hope now a whole new world opens up for her. I'm sure it will.

I saw her on Good Morning America and she is awesome. So humble. I have never seen Simon Cowell smile that much on American Idol's all the seasons combined.

I sat DH down last night to see the British Idol video. My big, old salt of the earth, German/Irish man got a lump in his throat and tears in his eyes (me too!).
