How I beat 15 Years of Chronic Pain | Arthritis Information

Share

I spent 15 years of my life nearly crippled with Arthritic pain in my Knees, Back, Neck and feet. I spent lots of money on pain killers, alcohol and supplements, none of which helped my condition.

A friend showed me a way to lessen my pain through DIET. In under 14 days I had less pain and more energy. By 30 days my knees and back no longer gave me problems. It has been almost 6 years now of being Pain Free and my wife and I have been sharing these techniques with others. We have just launched our new website to reach even more people. This is our way of helping others find the same relief we did. Http://www.GiveUpPain.com

Thank You for reading this. We wish you the best of health in this new year.

SPAMBoy oh boy, now where did you get that Idea?

We've missed you

Nobody chases off those spammers like you do my friend

If you had even gone to the site you would have found there is nothing for sale. We are not looking for your business. We are trying to share results we had in a positive manner.

The free dietary report we give helps to see if you may have a food hypersensitivity. The free ebook we give away should help people with diet issues and the free course we give away on EFT's will help you get rid of pain in minutes without the use of drugs while you work on the dietary cause of your affliction.

However, if the pain you live with is that important that you wish to hang on to it, then be my guest.

A doctor told me once he figured that Arthritis was Frozen Anger. By your overwhelming negative response I wonder if he had a point.

We are looking for places to promote the website but as your are aware advertising costs can be expensive and on a site where we just give information away it would hardly make sense.

My apologies to everyone we insulted by our post to this forum. It was not our intention to upset anyone. Thank You

Frozen Anger? Interesting

You're not gonna make friends around here with that kind of talk.

Lee1234538733.7131597222Lovie,  Remember when I went to psychologist to help me deal with my ra diagnosis and she said ra is caused from childhood resentment.

It’s one thing to suggest there might be some sort of connection between emotions and illnesses but it is another to arrogantly tell people that their disease was caused by a particular emotion or has a simple cure (which when anyone tries doesn’t work but when told this it doesn’t faze the person that proposed the cure because it ‘must not have been followed correctly’).

A long time ago I realised that in my case stress and arthritis were related as my arthritis first appeared in my neck which is where I hold my tension and when I am under stress my neck begins to ache because the tense neck muscles put pressure on the damaged parts of my neck. I therefore tentatively concluded that in some people with a predisposition to developing arthritis stress may be one of many contributing factors in these people getting arthritis. However to claim that a particular emotion is the cause of a disease like arthritis ignores the fact that since the only people in the world that never get stressed or angry or resentful or experience any other negative emotions are dead then every one of us should have arthritis.

Theories as to the causes of a disease or ways of dealing with it that may lead to an improvement in the condition need to be plausible and put in such a way that they are not condescending to the sufferers of the disease. Too many of us have been ripped off by people selling cures or relief from unfortunate illnesses such as arthritis to not be sceptical when presented with promises of miraculous improvement if we follow some dietary regime and/or swallow particular combinations of this or that vitamin or herb costing only x number of dollars per month.

Given the large number of people peddling promises to cure or greatly improve conditions that are not yet fully understood by science it is hardly surprising that sufferers of those conditions become cynical about the motives of the person advertising the ‘cure’ or improvement in the condition and question the efficacy of the treatment especially if it involves outlaying money.

Thank You Dragon

I appreciate your comments. I was and am a sufferer of RA, if I don't watch what I eat. I have also been subjected to the remedy and cure mythology that appears to exist. I would think not only around Arthritis but so many other diseases too.

Granted there are a lot of predators out there however I don't feel the majority of people are like that. I feel that people do find solutions to THEIR particular ailment and they share those results. Is that not supposed to be the purpose of a Forum?

I have a friend of mine who was taking cortisone shots to the spine and she was wheelchair bound. Her pain from a life of battery and abuse and whatever else happened to her was immense. She started using a vitamin supplement companies products. To this day she swears by those products. I tried them and they did not work for me like they did her. You could never marginalize her belief in her products though. She was out of pain, For The Most Part!

My Arthritis pain I found, after experimenting with all sorts of products, was related to a food hypersensitivity. The main food that to this day will bring my Arthritis pain right back is Bread and white flour products. I would never have found this out had I not been willing to listen to some doctors that were concerned with what they were seeing. These doctors felt a concern for the amount of drugs that people were taking and they noticed too that the drug companies were not offering cures. An organization that helped me was direct-ms.org  It was the diet used there for MS that I experimented with to discover my food sensitivity (Gluten). This organization is trying to get Universities to perform a study on diet in relation to disease. As you can imagine they are meeting some great obstacles with drug companies blocking funding programs.

I guess that is the real test then, if someone offers to show you an alternative, it is always up to us if we decide to try it or not. If you are looking for answers then I feel you will find them. If we close our world off to everything we may miss the solution. Personally, I did not want to be married to my pain and live like that anymore. Arthritis was robbing me of all the things I enjoy, my time with my children, an active lifestyle and it was giving me tons of depression. I would have tried anything to get rid of the pain and the horrible feeling of helplessness. Well anything within reason! I could only do what I could afford to do.

The snake oil industry is however still alive and well as are the doctors selling false hope through drugs and therapies that do not work and actually worsen a persons condition and dependancy on pain killers.

Maybe we can only try what works for us and then let others know there may be alternatives for them too. Isn't that supposed to be human nature, we help others who need it?

Your commentary of stress related arthritis was really interesting. Now that I think back on it, when my arthritis was at its worst is when I was under a lot of stress through my work. I never tied the two together, there is another thought to research, explore and share with people.

Once again, Thank You Dragon

Yep  very  tricky  spam... if you follow Daniel's  page eventually by clicking and  following links you get to a site which discusses "EFT" emotional freedom techniques, which  are FREE yeah except  you need to pay  for the DVDs to learn about the techniques.. it looks  very much like   eye movement desensitation reprograming... uses "tapping" to deal with emotional issues..

It looks like  a mlm/pyramid scam as well.

However  I have had a licensed clinical social worker/RN with a master's degree use EMDR on me successfully to deal with a significant emotional crisis. So  in some cases it may work.. but she wasn't selling anything...for "free"

oh and the website  is http://www.emofree.com/default.htm  way down the page   you  get to when you click a link "what is EFT?"  it says  they have "easily affordable 5 star DVD's to learn how to be an EFT coach..

Dragon,  I fully agree that stress is a factor in auto immune diseases.  I realized this in college when I would get ill at finals time.  It became quite clear that the stress I was under impaired my immune system.  I also believe the onset of my ra was brought on by a very stressful time in my life.  I appreciate what you said that many people have stress and pent up anger and do not get ra so what is the point of telling a ra sufferer that their illness is caused by "pent up anger or emotions".  That is obviously blaming the victim and it is not conducive to healing.  I have no problem with alternative therapies.  It makes sense that diet and controlling stress will help to heal most any illness.  I do have a problem with people who target people who are suffering for personal gain.  Thanks Kathy for taking the time to expose another spammer.   It even has a "60 day money back guarantee"!  It also reminds me of ads for a larger penis or bigger breasts.
