Spelunker2009-04-17 09:29:15Lynn and Snow... thanks for this advice. I have no tearing problem but I have noticed my distance glasses don't help me the same as before and I use them for driving-yikes! Of course with all my appts for RA, UC/IBS, shoulder and feet, as well as our mess regarding finances and housing, I keep postponing regular exams of my eyes and teeth. Not a good idea, I see. I'll make an appt today.

Really good article, Lynn.  I agree with Snow on the rare statement.  Also, very important information to go see an ophthalmologist rather than an optometrist, usually where we go for eye exams and glasses because insurance dictates this is so.

Thanks!
Good timing on this one.  I've had three instances now of getting a "bump" above my right eyelid in the past few months.   May be unrelated, but I'm going to ask at my next appt.

Thanks
