hi, i'm new here. i found this forum while searching for information on
carpal tunnel surgery. this morning i had an emg done and the tech told
me my results "look bad". now i have to wait until 1/20 to see the doc
and get the results, but i know already he's going to tell me that
surgery is my only option. carpal tunnel and i have been "living
together" for 16 years. at this point i've lost feeling in the pads of
my thumb, index, and middle finger. the thing is i'm scared of having
the surgery because i live alone and have no one to help me take care
of my needs during the recovery process. i'm hoping that someone here
can help me with my fears.
