Sunday night I had MASSIVE chills, shakes so bad I couldn't get warm no matter what.  I ended up with 6 blankets and comforters on me and just couldn't get warm, while spiking a 104 fever.

I  started coughing HUGE  clots of blood yesterday, I've had pneumonia before but not like that. I called the office and told Deb what was going on and she squeezed me AND Jakie in for a dual appointment...I had my chest  xrays today.

My dr. called me about an hour later  saying "you've got a pretty good case of pneumonia going there."

she told me to call them first thing friday morning if I didn't feel a LOT better, and they would give me IV antibiotics.  lucky me..

on the other hand, I  contacted my new cardiologist and asked if I could reschedule the Echo I had scheduled and completely forgot last week, and they arranged for me to get the echo tomorrow and the check up appt Thursday.

Oh, Kathy, you poor darling. I am so sorry to hear you aren't doing well. You've had a really rough time of it, sweetie. I hope things start to improve soon. You must be so over it by now. Rug up and rest. I hope the antibiotics start to do there job soon. Hang in there.
You are in my thoughts and prayers, sweetie.
I am so sorry to hear this! Please take care of yourself...I wish there was something I could do aside from sending you my best wishes... I'm very sorry to read that you are not doing well.  Sending prayers your way, believing things will improve soon! Yikes - take care and get well soon! Pneumonia is the pit of pits!  You must be careful and rest all you can to get over it!  Please keep us informed and I am wishing much better days ahead for you!  What was Jakie's outcome? Hope you make a quick recovery.Sure hope you make a full recovery soon- sounds like you never got over it the first time. Please take care. Thinking of you, take care!!!I'm so sorry to hear how sick you are. Coughing that hard is so hard on all your muscles ie ribs, diaphragm, neck and shoulders and abdominal. I also know how awful fevers that high are. Keep hydrated, take your meds, recover fully.

Thanks everyone.  I did have a more comfortable night last night..I'm sure the fact that both kids slept all night in their own beds helped. They are both night time wanderers and there are nights when its like Grand Central Station in our bedroom..

Jakie is still sounding very croupy, and the poor little guy has lost his voice so he sounds like a mosquito when he talks.. just this pittiful little squeeking voice..  since I can't hear the higher registers  you can imagine what conversation around here is like.  We have him on a nebulizer, with albuterol. As the dr says if it IS asthma it will help, if its not we can see very quickly and just won't use it any more.

I'm heading back to bed for as long as he will let me sleep.
