So let me get this clear...If someone does not sell anything what is he advertising? You mean that if you have a hobby, you can not tell anyone or show them what you do? Seems kind of silly to me. What are you selling Larry?
Bodak's site is simply a blog to share his photographs and reflections. There isn't anything for sale, so it isn't advertising.
I'm about to do something similar, start a blog about my reflections on RA.
And yes, I intend to put a link to it in my signature line because many people ask me for more of my writing.
My blog will be a place they can access something they may have read before that has brought them comfort, anytime they wish to do so.
Well, thanks SnowOwl, I appreciate your kind words. And yes, I have had many people here ask for more of my writing or tell me they hang on my posts because they get such comfort from them.
I want to set up a blog so then you all can access the information on there any time you want to...even at 2am when you have woken up in pain and can't get back to sleep.
My goal is it will benefit the greater good.
I think there is a need for it and I am working on the early stages of it.

It's a website advertisement. It's that simple. This is a pay for advertising forum. Like I said before, Bodak used to grace this forum every week or two to post some of his photos. Now that he is advertising his website, he is here many times each day. There will be no apology to Bodak. Stephen Issell is a thief. It's just that simple. A signature line is not for advertising.

Listen, your just like your nasty lying friend Pincusion was given a choice of either showing where I made racist statements against her godchildren or apologizing. I only demanded that she show up or shut up after she had posted that filthy nasty statement about me three times. I say post all the links to whatever you want.....selling or not selling; If people want to click on it great; if they don't that's ok too. I see no harm in it one way or the other.
Lev; if you want to post a link to something.....go ahead. Those that are interested can look and those that aren't can just pass it over. Simple as that. Frankly I'd be interested in whatever it is your intersted in. I might now want to buy anything.....but I'd sure be intersted to see what it is you're selling; or even interested to see what your hobbies are.
Lots of folks have links in their sig lines and we're all free to look if we want......as well as not look.
What's the big deal? Yea, yea....I understand the paid for advertising thing here; but to be honest, I've never once clicked on one of these ads to the left.....but have often looked to see what some of our members are into. Whether it's a link to their myspace page....jewerly business, photo gallery or what have you. It's neat stuff in my opinion and adds interest to our sight.
Please Lev; post away. I think we'd all honestly be interested to see what it is that you're interested in. I'm not trying to be a smartass.....I'm being honest. I honestly would like to see. It's fun in my opinion. Other's would likely agree.

And I would welcome seeing more of Levlarry's photos as well. He had some beautiful shots from his vacation that I really enjoyed. It is fun to see other parts of the world, and connect with others.
Bodak, that is nice of you to change the link, but unnecessary as far as many of us are concerned.
I have absolutely no problem with forum members advertising, especially if it is something that is beneficial to us all, but you aren't even doing that, all your doing is sharing the address to your blog so people who want to can read your reflections and see your photos.
I'd love to see more of Lev's photos too, that would be great.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that enjoyed my photo cruise. As yous can see, Hell isn't all it's cracked up to be. I think that those three businesses are all there is in Hell. To answer some of the questions. My camera is a kodak z712. It does have a burst mode that takes a rapid burst of photos but I never read the manual so I don't really use it. It also has a video with sound mode but again, I never read the manual so I don't use that either. The first deer was fairly close to the road but as I approached with my car, she ran off quite some distance. I got out of the car and used the zoom to zoom in on her and the pictures where she is actually looking at me is because I yelled "hey". In the photos of the deer crossing the creek, the sun was just going down and the deer crossed the road in front of me about an eighth of a mile in front of me. I knew that if I got out of the car, they would bolt. I think it was a buck and five doe. I tried to focus thru my windshield and the camera wouldn't focus and after the deer had crossed, I drove up to the bridge and stopped and got out and took a picture of the creek, left side of road from where they crossed and turned to the right side of the bridge just as the buck was crossing and then one by one, the doe walked across, so what seems like a burst of rapid photos is actually different deer. SnowOwl, what a way to stroke my ego. I would be honored to have a photo that I took framed by you, you are very welcome to do that. Oh, and the deer were quite some distance from me, and it was the zoom that makes them look so close. I am confused about your post Lev. I too did not see any harm in posting a link to his website - no $$$ there attached to his images. At one time I posted a link to my son's art - not to drum up business, but because I was a proud mom and wanted to share his talent. Both you and Stephen have a right to be proud.
