Handicapped Parking Placard | Arthritis Information

I love my handicapped parking permit!  I only have a temporary 6months one for my feet which we hope will improve. When this happened before, the dr renewed it another 6 months, so maybe I'll get this one renewed again in August.

I realize there are people worse off than me, so whenever there is an open space next to that handicapped space, I take that one instead.

Saturday night, I with my parking placard, was the hero of our minivan with all 7 of us girls in the family (our mom, me, my 2 daughters, sis, her 2 daughters). My sister had presented a group gift at Christmas to us all of dinner out and tickets to see the stage production of "Wicked!" in San Francisco! Thanks to my new Ultram helping me and parking so close to the front door, I was able to enjoy myself more than I would have a few months ago. If you've ever tried to park in San Francisco, you know how hard that is, and especially on very windy, chilly nights like it was.  Not walking far added to our great night; we had such fun!

Cathy I have heard wonderful things about Wicked. You are a lucky girl!

We live in the east bay now, but we used to live in SF. Parking was one of the MANY reasons we moved. I got tired of circling the block for 30 minutes for the convenience of parking a mere 2 blocks from our apartment. Try that with a baby and some groceries! Gees. My sil LOVES the city and swears she'll never live anywhere else. But me, everytime I see my very own driveway I get all misty with emotion! Thnkx Cathy
