I have recently been put back on Enbrel after several infections. I am taking Enbrel the same day as my mtx. This is my third week on Enbrel and I have felt really hyper all day. I took my Enbrel injection two days ago but was sick from mtx. I feel so much better but there is no way I could sleep or sit still long. This happened before on Enbrel. I inject myself first thing in the morning but it still keeps me up at night. I am not saying it is a bad feeling, I am just curious - does anyone else get hyper on the biologics ? I love the feeling but I think it will be all the harder if I "crash" and go back to flare symptoms. This is two days in a row I have felt this way. I have also not needed any pain meds. the last two days. Feedback?
maybe your hyperness is not from Enbrel because you said you were like that before Enbrel and you are just able to be "hyper" after the MTX is not making you sick anymore.

you might want to tell your doctor about your hyperness and how it keeps you awake and also mention like you did here that "This happened before on Enbrel." that way Enbrel does not get blamed for your hyperness??

Thanks Kelly. I am doing great knock on wood. Took longer for this comeback but three GREAT days. Back to walking my dogs and taking care of myself. Life is good. Happy New Year and hope you are doing well also.
