I get to take my Enbrel tomorrow but I am so happy. I woke up achey and sore but on the bright side - My Enbrel high lasted almost all week. The bummer is it is a beautiful day today and I am on my couch with my electric blanket. Yesterday I took the longest walk I have in a long time. It was wonderful. I am hoping to do a short one this afternoon as it is so gorgeous outside. This week I was down to only one or two painkillers a day. I have decided to make myself read for thirty minutes each day. I was an avid reader prior to ra and all the meds. Concentration and reading became very difficult since ra. I miss it a lot so off to read my SUN magazine - great essays - and slow down a bit today. Slowly but surely, I feel my life coming back. I was dx in May and it is Jan. so for all of you that are feeling discouraged - it takes time. ENBREL ROCKS - Rox

I do a lot of reading as well....kinda takes you mind off of other things and I find it very relaxing.
