I was told I will need 80mg the first dose and then 40 every other week, starting one week after that. I've read some places online though that some patients take 4 shots the first day, so is the 80 mg in 2 different pens?I use the needles not the pen. I use 40mg each time. Even started at 40mg. Hi Jamie, I've never heard of loading Humira. Everyone I've known have started at 40 mg every 2 weeks. Sometimes individuals at the request of their RD will change the dosing to every 10 days and in some instances weekly. Please give us more information about starting at 80mg. Lindy
