Spring is in the air. First pedicure of the year! | Arthritis Information

Well, I did my first pedicure of the year late last night.  I chose a deep metallic green color.  I never wear polish on my fingernails (I keep them pretty short, and polish looks dumb on them anyway).  But I do like to "dress up" my toes, especially since I go barefoot whenever and wherever I can.  The weather is finally turning nice here in Chicagoland, and I will be able to walk barefoot to school to pick up the boys this week!  I love the feel of the warm grass and gravel on my feet - must be from all my childhood summers spent in Arkansas (I swear we would go days at a time wearing NOTHING but a bathing suit!). I love that yearly turning point!! Sadly, for the last two years, I didn't do it... My ankles and feet hurt so much.. but this year feels great!   My Youngest daughter and I will go probably this week.......

deep metallic green??
I think I do a deep shade of red...

we would look like a christmas tree.

but seriously, yes.. it is one of my few indulgences......  leg massage..  ahhhh

I do it once.. then I can maintain it all year long unless i have a special occasion such as a wedding or something..... but initially, I need the big, deep down treatment!
I grab an old towel and sit on my bed, grabbing a foot with one hand, nail polish brush in the other, and nail polish bottle held between two toes of other foot"

My legs just cried in pain reading that post!!!!!  And my toes joined in.  Lindy
