Had x-rays today of my hands, wrists, feet & ankles tonight. Should have results by mid week. These are the first since my baseline hands in 12/07.
Besides the slight swelling on the sides of my hands I always have I noticed the sides of my ankles are swollen too. I never look at them at the angle they positioned them for the xray.
The only comment the tech made when she made sure she didn't have to take any over was- My you have tiny bones. Especially your hands.

Well... I hope your x-rays do not show much change since your baseline set.

Let us know!
you're a smidget!  of course you have little bones..

I hope you are good w/ the results
I'm off to see the wizard!  Maybe I can get a job there! you nut case!!!

I didn't say midget!!    smidge.. something small....

I'll have a smidge of cream cheese on that bagel please......

and so because you are small and dainty...... you are a smidget!!!
Hey WTB let us know what you find out, hopefully nothing new.I usually get those same sorts of comments. At my post op visit, my sinus surgeon turned to my husband and said ' you know she's very tiny on the inside too'.

WBRAF I say we band together and form a militia of people with internal tinyness. We can demand that jewelry makers make bracelets and watches that won't fall off our wrists every time we take our coats off!! Do you have that problem too?!!! If you are lucky and they have links they can be taken out but bangles- forget it!!!!  They fly across the room!

My ring size is 3 1/2!
Hopefully not much has changed since the baseline.

I don't know if my bones are considered tiny, but I have the watch & bracelet issues, too. If you are REAL lucky links can be removed. It took my dh the better part of Christmas morning and all of his considerable handiness, to get my new watch to stay on my wrist. Bangles, forgeddaboutit.. I'd have to walk around with my hands up all day. (picture me as a surgeon getting ready for my sterile gloves) I think the general dorkiness of me trying to wear bangles would detract from the beauty of the accessory.

Mel... You may not have been officially 'diagnosed' as internally tiny, but you can still have all of the tinyness issues. Consider yourself sero-neg tiny. Now join our militiaLOL - I have that problem with bracelets too!  I've had better luck with the memory wire wrap-style bracelets.

omg.. A militia of smidgets!!!!  Yes! Small & Mighty!
