Your Assessment: According to your answers, 5 out of 20 possible stress symptoms are not a problem for you, for a stress symptom score of 25 percent.

You appear to have many stress symptoms.

I guess I stressed too!

But question 15 is unfair....a) and b) are the same answer and guess what I failed on that one too....lol
That quiz does not give enough answer selections!

Like the do you have high blood pressure. No, not really... my meds make it below normal.

Like the do you have a hard time going to sleep because of racing stressful thoughts. No... I have a hard time going to sleep, because my mind races with nice relaxing thoughts. Like I play the stupid "Supermassive black hole" song in my head over and over and over again, until I fall asleep. Or I think about my crazy cat. I never think of anything stressful while trying to go to sleep.

Like the one about Do you find your limbido decreased or you are tired of sex? I cannot use the 2 answers they provide... because the coreg messes with me in that department, and so does the pain and problems I experience.

Oh and like the question about the craving sweet and salty foods.... well DUH! I am on prednisone!

What about this one... Are you losing your hair and suspect that stress may be a factor? Answers provided: a) Yes, I’m losing some hair. b) No, I’m not losing hair. But I am lossing hair, but not from stress. See need an inbetween answer.

So... I do not think that that stress test would work for me. It would just say I am severely stressed. They need inbetween answers on there!

here is my results.

Joonie, if you just answered the questions without thinking about it, the quiz would probably rate you 100% stressed.  Being a SAHM IS stressful!! You wouldn't think it'd be, but it is. I think I may be more stressed now than when I worked for corporate. Haha!

I love the picture of the guy that goes with question 5.
And I could go for a massage right now! But I love that Supermassive Black Hole song....
Its not stupid at all....I'm thinking about it right now...whew, I need a napOh do not get me wrong... I beat it to death when we are in the car... I play it repeatedly. Poor hubby wishes he did not download it most days, and I get my DJing ability took away from me when I play it more than 2 times in a row LOL!

I just say stupid as in ... I have to hear it before I go to sleep at night. It is just stupid that I am hooked on that song. I have no idea why. I hate music, and was annoyed by it when hubby played it in the car. But I have grown to like it, and am obessed with it to the point of when we get in the car, hubby & daughter say no supermassive black hole. Son likes it, so he does not care how many times I play it LOL!

And the other night I was on someone's myspace (you know who you are) and their playlist the first song was supermassive black hole. Hubby just shook his head and said... you do know... you do not have to go visit peoples MySpace pages to get your fix... it is on you laptop in MyDocuments. I was like REALLY?!!!?!??!? He said yes, now I know I am going to regret telling you. I said Oh for sure!!
We had supermassive and starlight on a continuous loop in the car for a while. Not my choice, although I do love those songs, I do not need to hear them continuously. Its my little girls. Since I refuse to play ANTHING from that little bewigged, state-rhyming, tween pop sensation, my girls develop other music favs. For a long while it was FOB (dance dance, and I dont care) being played to death. Now my three year old goes around saying I want the Killers. Which is ok if you understand the reference, but really upsetting to the average grandparent!    I don't know your music. I guess I'm old.

As to this stress test, I think it's no good. Like Joonie said, it doesn't give enough answer choices. But worse than that is there are too many questions missing. For example, my score was 45%. Yeah, well what about all my life challenges with RA and bowel disease. We have no money to speak of so my hubby is very concerned my old car will give up soon and I need it for all my appts and to visit my elderly mom. And what about the fact that along with all those difficulties, I'm supposed to be packing or getting rid of my possessions because... oh yeah- I'm losing my home of 20years! And, my wonderful little dog got sick in January and within a week, died! Lousy test if you ask me!

There is a better one by psychologists that list all of life changes, good or bad, with the worst at the top. I forget how the scoring is done, but mine is sky high. About the only stresses I don't have are a recent divorce, wedding, baby. I forget what that test is called.

OK, I found one place showing that test but I don't know how to put the address here like you all do.  So, I'm going to copy-paste the whole listing of changes on a reply so look for it.
edited to say, I think I'll post it as a New Topic

edited to say that after reviewing the list I see I've been spared others ie jail.... thank God for that, can you imagine sitting in a cold stark cell with RA and bowel disease? I'd die.
