Welcome to the forum. I am glad you finally got an answer and a diagnoses. Just courious. Do you swell much? Just trying to get a grasp as to why you were mistreated all of those years. I have had a simalar experience.Hi Marie!

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I am newly diagnosed (long time sufferer)
of RA. Glad I found this forum. I researched quite a few and this one looked to be most informative without all the "false hope" products being advertised. Looks like it's pretty active, also.

It's nice to have a place to go where other people understand what I go through just to be able to live a somewhat normal life. I spent 5+ years just trying to get answers to what was wrong with me. I had doctors tell me it was all in my head, that I just wanted pain pills for recreational reasons, that they didn't know what was wrong with me, etc. I'm sure you all know the drill.

I am so grateful that a doctor FINALLY listened to me and figured out what was wrong with me. It's a shame I had to suffer so long and lose a lot of function in my hands before I found him. I look forward to sharing my experiences with everyone and learning from yours!
