Hello everyone!
Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I am newly diagnosed (long time sufferer)
of
RA. Glad I found this forum. I researched quite a few and this one
looked to be most informative without all the "false hope" products
being advertised. Looks like it's pretty active, also.
It's
nice to have a place to go where other people understand what I go
through just to be able to live a somewhat normal life. I spent 5+
years just trying to get answers to what was wrong with me. I had
doctors tell me it was all in my head, that I just wanted pain pills
for recreational reasons, that they didn't know what was wrong with me,
etc. I'm sure you all know the drill.
I am so grateful that a
doctor FINALLY listened to me and figured out what was wrong with me.
It's a shame I had to suffer so long and lose a lot of function in my
hands before I found him. I look forward to sharing my experiences with
everyone and learning from yours!
You have been through a very frustrating time and finally I hope you start to achieve a reprieve from some of the ugly symptom this disease brings.
This forum was a bit of a god send for me when I discovered it as I found some answers to questions that I was either to scared to ask or just did not know to ask.
I hope you can also find some relief and be able to put your mind at rest.
Edit: Love you little by line at the end of your post.
