mgrianes nause dizzyness on enbrel? | Arthritis Information

 

hi anyone out there getting migraines nausea dizzyness on enbrel? if so anything i can do about it? i want to continue enbrel as it is helping. 6 w on it now. i take 25 mg every 5 d. i am only 100 ls at 5'5" thus the small dose. i ahve had 3 migraines in this time. i never get migraines off meds. also after last migraine was dizzyness nauseous for 3 days. hard to function. not sure which  is worse - the arthritis pain or the migraines. they are wicked awful!

I have not had problems with Enbrel, but I wanted make sure you have let your doctor know you are having these problems. i have. he says enbrel doesn't cause migraines. i never had them off enbrel. i only get them when i take meds. prednisone and anti-inflamms are the only ones that don;t cause migraines for me. i've read re others on net who get migraines from enbrel so know it's not true. just want to know how to stop them so i can stil take enbrel. I"ve taken 50 mg shots every week for a year with no headaches at all.....

I never got any migraines, nausea or dizziness when I was using Enbrel................. Do you have tinnitus as well, by chance? graciesmom2009-05-10 20:39:27I get a headache the day of and day after my shot but it's not a bad one. I also feel blah and have no energy then on the 3rd day the shot kicks butt and I feel great until a  day or two before my next shot it due. So I do get some relief just not every day. Sometimes I also have to take some benedryl because I break out in a itchy rash. I have been on enbrel for almost two years and I think it is not working as well as it did when I first started. what is tinnitis? is that ringing o the ears? if so, no. but i do get plugged ears that comes and goes. Yes, tinnitus is ringing in the ears. That along with some of the symptoms you mentioned could be Meniere's Disease, but it doesn't sound like that's the problem. Could you possibly have a sinus infection?
