OT Offensive language | Arthritis Information
I thought offensive language was not allowed and was blocked. Anyone know about this?Who's going to block it? This board has no active moderator so no; there is no one that is going to block anything that is posted. It's a free for all. We've always been self moderated and at times it works real good....and at other times it doesn't. They can program that certain words, I'm sure you know, don't get printed.I agree with that Jan Lucinda,
I will certainly reread my posts and ensure that I don't use foul language. We can't stop others from using foul language but I do agree with you in wishing that the bad lanquage will stop. I am also just as concerned about this constant spamming for the roadback organization. When these mostly non-RAers are asked to bring some science or facts that actually prove the effectiveness of AP therapy from the roadback so as to give some credibility to the spammed organization, we get attacked. I know that when I was looking, i did look at the roadback and I must say, I was quite impressed. The Harris Poll was absolutely grabbing and convincing of the effectiveness of AP therapy. The small parts of studies about AP therapy was thee clincher. I had found the miracle cure. NOT. I started to dig deeper and found that the Harris Poll was a fraud and the studies from the 1990's were as corrupt and of no medical value just like the Harris Poll fraud. These spammers are like vultures and yet you never see the vultures at the AF forum. Anyone have any idea why these vultures don't spam at the AF Forum? Okay, I'm for no more foul language and no more spamming. How 'bout you, Jan Lucinda?

Why are you so angry? We should all be here for the same reasons: for information, to share experience with whatever course of treatment we choose and to encourage. I only know that anger is not good for anyone.
My doctor has a patient that has been on AP for 20 years. The patient is the one who came to him with this new treatment for RA. Since then, my doctor has treated many including myself. I'm in remission with AP not to say that my RA is gone but I'm leading a normal life including doing Korea yoga something I could have never done years ago.
I hope you find peace because lashing out is not good for anyone.

See the ads to the left for miracle ra cures? If you go to their websites they have more testimonials than you can bring. They, just like the roadback, have the same disclaimer to keep them free from all liability, criminal or civil. Show us the science and the facts. Yous constantly talk about the thousands but yet their is no medical trail for the thousands? "Hi my name is Becky. My story goes against all science and medical data but please trust your body to me, what do you have to lose? A limb or two or three? Well, maybe your life but c'mon, what's the chances? And hey, you can't sue me if it costs you a knee replacement. I probably won't even apologize because all failures are YOUR fault. Hugs and Kisses." So as long as you can give us a few testimonials, we should go against such organizations as the American College of Rheumatology and the Mayo Clinic? Becky, do you really feel that you and roadback are more knowledgable than the American College of Rheumatology and all other top rheumatology orgs and institutes? I'm not angry. Those spammer friends of yours get on my nerves. Why don't you and they go to the AF forum and talk your stuff? Don't you think that there are some hopeless RA sufferers that need yous' help?

You live dangerous. I know that at least one person is on the track to your personal information. I advised against it. But since you think that this forum belongs to you and pincusion and lyndeenz and Gimpy and Joonie, that even after all those sweet complaints to ernestpr, and he took no action at HIS forum, yous decide to out another members personal information to get rid of her, even though that is on of ernestpr's rules. No giving out other member personal information without that members permission. Lorster, I stand for right and wrong, not whoever happens to be the alpha dog and have no desire to live with a group in order to seem strong. Someday when your phone won't stop ringing or you get a knock on your door, you'll then realize how dangerous you live. Good luck with that.

Another thing Lev, to set the record straight. You know of a book that was written about a relative of mine. My grandmother left him when my mother was a year old. She married a rancher here and my mom was adopted by him when she was four. I have nothing to hide from that book, only a lot to be ashamed of. I never met these people nor would I have wanted to. My family has removed themselves from this by a few generations. Never to look back. If someone on this forum is researching me, please pm me and I will be more than happy to share info. Hey if you truly have nothing to hide asswipe, how about you post your address or better yet, your phone number so I can call you out for all your totall bullsh*t. You revealed nothing because you HAD nothing. It was only when someone else mentioned what THEY had found something out did you "confirm" that's what you found. Scatological references, obscenities, and vulgarisms may be offensive to some, just as others find quarrelsomeness, evasion, avoidance, and divisiveness offensive. From my point of view I would rather skip over the former than encounter the latter, just as I would rather read incisive, current, and critical evaluations that the incessant bumping of topics far beyond their use-by dates.

Here in the United States, we don't talk about our "black" godchildren or our "brown" godchildren or our mexican godchildren or our chinese godchildren or oue american indian godchildren or our ukranian godchildren or our white godchildren. Until I read your post on your "black" godchildren, I had never heard someone describe their godchildren by ethnicity or color. Must be a european thing. It isnt peaceful here no!! Its just a bunch of people with an illness trying to defend themselves from bullies. I used to shut up and ignore them but if someone new signs in and i chat to them they wont get any help if they believe what Lev writes about me and others...Lev only comes in here when the board is starting to turn peaceful, he stirs it up and spews out his own brand of rubbish. He supports people like AA who came in here with her racist ideals, he wrote a post to me and in it he picked on my two god children who are only 3 and 1 for being mixed race. Most of Lev's posts havent got a thing to do with RA or any other auto immune disease...I dont go out to cause trouble but I wont let other trouble makers on here cause trouble for me.... | |
