There was a member on here and I will tell you her name, Sandra, she has been in contact and she used to work for the USA government, her husband has RA but she left as she found the board to be slightly unreal. She pm's now and then and knows some people in high places who she is going to ask what the law is with all of this, maybe she can do something maybe she cant but there are some very sadistical folk on here, who really never post about their RA or help others, they only pop up when trouble is brewing.
I find this post to be very relavant. I find this post to be pure 100% Lorster. Since I have read Lorsters posts, she is always talking against the stupid doctors and stupid hospital administrators. Anyone that has been to the hospital knows who Nurse Lorster is. All the nurses that you come in contact with are these sunshine bringing people, except one. Nurse Lorster. The only person in the hospital with any brains or knowledge or inteligence and the whole world is against her. She's right, they're wrong. She brings gloom and doom. She takes every private moment to complain to the patient about how terrible the hospital is. She hates her fellow nurses because they actually smile and laugh and love their jobs and actually get good feelings from helping their patients, the total opposite of Nurse Lorster. Nurse Lorster believes it's okay to kill a patient to prove her point. Nurse Lorster can't understand why the other nurses avoid her when she has so much to share. She can tell them the truth about the stupid Doctors and Hospital Administrators. Nurse Lorster just can't understand why no one wants to hear it.

What's so bad about posting this thread. Just recently, Lorster reposted the Obama thread to try to show how racist everyone is except her. Conveniently that nasty stuff is so phoney, she had to delete all of her posts on that thread. That's how shallow and deceitful and phoney she is. Two nights ago I tucked four young girls in bed. Two were white one was black one was hispanic. I have nephews of all colors that I love very much. So I just pulled my race cards out by mentioning my nephews on this post. I have a mixed niece due in September I am very excited about. That isn't a nice thing to say. I did however just use them to make a point. I honestly believe that they will understand. Political threads are not nice. I usually stay off of them. I have been reading thread after thread on this forum and I have come to one conclusion. We are all a pathetic bunch. We take abuse that most other human beings would not put up with. We are physically, mentally and emotionally abused by doctors, managers, patients, and families. We work ungodly hours, skip our much needed breaks without pay for months and years on end. And this goes on and on and on. The stories are endless. Then we are all shocked when a nurse who has had enough finally cracks and administers 32 vials of Dilantin and kills a patient. Is this so different than any other human being who finally after years and years of this abuse, just cannot take it anymore? I think not. When are we all going to stand up and demand decent pay, decent working conditions, and respect? Well, the answer is never because we are not a solid group. We have no autonomy or solidarity because we are a weak profession. We pit one against another. We ***** and backstab. We deserve all the abuse that is dealt to us. In nursing school, we are taught to make beds, empty bedpans and clean dentures. Instead we should get vast lessons in how to deal with some of the real issues that face us today. We are understaffed, overworked, pushed to the breaking point. But yet, the martyr instinct kicks in, we get up and go back and endure more of the same. When is enough, enough? When are we all going to come together and and start shouting about our working conditions and wages?

I used to read Lorster constantly complain about her working conditions and the stoopid people around her including the patients. If anyone stays where they can't stand it, that's self abuse, they need not kill another innocent human or animal for to satisfy the makings of their own abuse. Yes, I was in the same boat when working and now I have to listen to my wife when she comes home.
I make it a point to ask her how her day went even though I know it will most probably be the same mantra.
I feel it is important for her to get this off her chest so as to speak.
I know I used to feel a tad better if given ten minutes to exhale the day.
Stephen, the funny thing is I like my job and I am very good at it... Sometimes the negative feelings boil up and you have to let them out. We all do it to some degree or another... Come to think of it, aren't these boards kind of set up to allow us to do exactly that??

-The nurse had to get THIRTY-TWO vials of Dilantin from 3 seperate Pyxis units.
-The nurse had to start a second IV to administer that much Dilantin.
-The ED doctor and the nurse are fired. The ED doc was fired for attempting to contact the deceased family.
-The ER doctor brings a wrongful termination suit against the hospital network, which triggers an investigation into the patient's death and a JCAHO investigation into the hospital's response to the death.
How did the nurse make that error? I am all for process errors, but that seems like the nurse egregiously circumvented the safeguards.
