Well, I had the pleasure of experiencing my first earthquake last night.

Did not like it.

DH and I were sitting on the couch watching tv and all of the sudden it felt like we were moving. First I thought it was just me being how I've been medicated lately. Then it kept going and there was a rumble and then it stopped. I looked over at DH and said, "What the f was that!??!" And he just calmly goes, "Well, that was an earthquake." Instant freak out!!

As for my flare, I guess I'm still in it.

Hope you're all having a superfantastic and extra-comfortable evening!
COMel, welcome to the club.  A nice gentle one for your first.   Lived in the Bay area for 20 years and each and every earthquake was as bad as my first one.  You'll never get used to them.  The one constant is the ground beneath our feet.  When the ground moves it's one of the most horrible feelings.

It sounds like we're flaring together.  Mine isn't as bad as yours, just sort of slow moving.  Take care and hope you're feeling better soon.  Lindy
If anyone asks if the earth has ever moved for you you can answer in the affirmative. I feel the Earth Move Under My Feet.. I feel the sky tumbling..............................

they are scarey.. I've experienced ONE>...  in PA, when I was 13 years old.. Woke us up in the middle of the night..
I hear my mom calling to my dad to wake up the boiler's going to blow!!

WOW!  An earthquake!

seriously, right?

I see my new RD on the 2nd. Part of me is hoping I have the mother of all flares when I step into that office. I'm pretty miserable right now; just waiting for things to get better. I'm taking 100mgs Imuran daily and Naproxen 500mgs 3x day. Vicodin as needed... which has been very needed. I know there are a few more options out there after plaquenil, methotrexate, Enbrel and Humira. I'd like to avoid the infusions if I can due to the high cost. I'm still able to up the dose on the Imuran once more. I think max is 150 but my prev RD said I'd have to do 125 due to my weight. I'll just have to wait and see what they tell me. It'd be wonderful if I walked in and they said, "Congratulations! You're our 100th patient of the week and we have an RA cure for you. Come right this way!!"  hehe  Wishful thinking.

Sorry if I rambled a bit, I took my ambien and will be going to bed soon.
I thought of you yesterday afternoon.  I was watching the news and they talked about the earthquake....just a small one.  2 badges in week.....you go girl.

It always helps if you're flaring when you go to the RD.  Hope you start feeling better.  Lindy
I heard about it.  Not too strong.
