I just got back from Madison - my brother was in the hospital again.  And upon my return home, my dad called to tell me my stepmom has taken a big turn for the worse.  She's in the hospital right now, and we meet with the hospice folks tomorrow.

Thank God I was able to go on retreat this past weekend - I needed it more than I realized at the time I signed up for it!!! Sorry to hear that you are going threw this. It sounds like alot to come home to. You and your family are in our prayers. Thanks so much!  We'll get through all this - I just gotta make sure we all take care of ourselves (Dad especially!) during this crisis period. Jas, I am so sorry for your troubles.  Your brother will be in my thoughts for a speedy recovery and a positive outcome and blessings to your father and stepmom in their time of need.  There is so little that can be said at such a difficult time.

Take care of yourself {{Jas}}.  It may be easy to expend more energy that you have right now and, as we all know, you cannot do that with this disease.  I will be thinking of you and sending you all the positive thoughts for good health and healing energy I have.
Jasmine,

I'll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear of your family troubles. Hope all is well soon. Thanks everyone!

I've called my PCP and asked for some xanax.  Stress like this aggravates my arrhythmia, which in turn aggravates me even more.   Sometimes I just need a little Vitamin X so I can sit down and relax for a bit. Hey Jas....sorry to hear about all of this.  I'll remember you all in my prayers.Jasmine, I'm glad to hear you are making the effort to take care of yourself during this stressful time. You and your family are in my prayers.
Cathy
