I think my heart is upside down | Arthritis Information

They say you can not swell much above the heart. I am just the opposite. My ankles I can barely stand on but the swelling is minamal. The area between my neck and shoulder is like wow. Alot worse than yesterday. RD is calling tomorrow. I am going to suggest that we do this in person instead of over the phone. Yesterday my right shoulder was the worst. The left today is three times the swelling of the right side. It is one of those days that I find to be unnecassary for a human being to have to go threw. i hope you get some answers tomorrow...feel better soonI would try standing on my head but i don't think that would work out so well today. Oh no hanging by my feet. Ouch. The best i could do is a Mork thing. Like hanging over the couch. Which I did to try to get some bloodflow into my swollen chest. It couldn't hurt. LOL I saw my doctor two weeks ago. He is calling to check on me today. I will ask for an appointment. He is very good at getting me in. I did not swell a bunch till yesterday afternoon. That is no more than I was swollen two weeks ago. I do have chest involvment that is new. This is not going anywhere, the swelling. He will see it.Hope you get some answers, too.Milly,

Sounds like the title of a country music song. I think my heart is upside down, since you left me. My beeeeersss just don't taste the same. My new girl sure is a looker but she sure as hell ain't no cooker. One more fast food hamburger and I may have to call you and beg you to come hoooooommme. But for now, my heart is upside down.

Well I got the nurse. She called the doctor. He really can not see me before the !st. He did not raise the Lryica. He did however raise the Flexeril. He said I could take either two at night or I could take it twice a day. I do not feel comfortable taking two at night because I take alot of other meds at night. So I will sleep more hours because I am going to do the twice a day. I told everyone to wake me up later if I fall asleep. So I can take my meds. If that does not help I can call back or go to the eroom at Mayo.Oh yes they said to apply heat. Milly, I hope you find some kind of relief soon. Don't hesitate to go to the Mayo if you feel the need... feeling the way you do makes the 1st a long way off!

Aw, Milly! I'm sorry the doc wasn't able to see you right away. I'm with Waddie, if it gets worse, get yourself to the hospital. There's no point in you being so uncomfortable! Get well soon!
