When you get an RA "flare", how long does it last?  Minutes, hours, days, weeks, months?Diagnostic critera is six weeks or more..it is a long term issue as milly said.. at least for me it was.... and it has ebbing and increasing feelings and fatigue and flu-like symptoms that accompany the bad swelling and pains.....

It can be as short as a day or as long as several years.  Usually if RA is caught in early stages, like yours, a flare will be short lived.  A flare varies from person to person and there's no right or wrong answer to your question.  Lindy
