Simponi | Arthritis Information

 

Has anyone heard anything about simponi? It's a new medication, similar to Humira or Enbrel. It was approved by the FDA in April. A friend told me the manufacturer is giving the first six months free. That's on my research to do list!  I might see what I can find out about it tonight.  I know Cimzia was just released also.  I'll post if I find anything.  If you find something, please post.  Lindy

My husband's rheumatologist has prescribed Humira, but we can't afford ,500 a month, but we make too much money to qualify for assistance. There's one more place our doctor wants us to apply. He wouldn't discuss Simponi until we tried this one last thing. I guess it's okay. I mean, Humira is older. There are a lot of resources for help with prescription drugs.  There's a list on the site here that was posted not long ago.  If you can't find it, let me know.  Is you husband covered with any ins.?  Lindy
