Onion & Inflammation? | Arthritis Information

I read in a health magazine that onion helps fight inflammation.  I tried eating one onion every night for 3 weeks.  Strangely, I think it makes my inflammation worse.  Is that possible?

Has anyone tried eating onions and how effective was it for you?
Cindy, I have heard of onions, garlic, tumeric...the list of foods is long (and makes me hungry!  I eat lots of onions and I can't tell that it hurts one way or the other. I eat at least one large onion a day in my salad and I have not noticed anything either. If I ate an entire onion in one sitting I imagine the digestive unrest would definitely overshadow any inflammation or pain in any other part of my body
