Clufus update | Arthritis Information

Hi All,

just wanted to give an update to the many of you who supported me through the dark time i just had.  physically i am feeling a lot better, the cymbalta/lirica combination is working good for my fibro.  i now can detect my hot spots, where before the overall pain was to much .  PA is also OK, think i was attributing fibro pain as PA pain.   its hard to tell which is the culprit on any given day.

Mentally i am in a much better place, thankfully because i took 7 weeks off, returned last tuesday and was downsized on thursday, yet strangely not only did i handle it, it seems to have take a great stress off of me by actually knowing rather than turning up to work each day not knowing if its your last or not.  The 5 months pay severence package help ease some of the worry about loosing my job.

Another big thing is that me and my ex wife have decided to move back to Houston TX.  Not getting back together but need to stay close so we can share the children.  I have far more friends in Houston that can help me when i need them so its a possitive move just need to find a job down there.

Anyway 15 more work days, then its get ready for the move.........talk later thanks all
Oh Clufus- I am so happy you are feeling so much better! All the best to you with the move! Maybe it's just what you need - a good fresh start! Thanks for the update and keep us posted!Clufus...wishing you nothing but the best in your upcoming endeavour.  Glad you are feeling better and a new start sounds like just what the Dr. ordered.

Take good care.

Pat

thanks for the update!!! I'm SO glad that you're positive!!  keep on keeping on!!

Clufus, what great news!  You are so right about that fibro pain, talk about something making you feel worthless!  It took me the longest to discern which was fibro and which was RA.  I am glad you have found a good combo that is helping.  I am sorry to hear about your job, but it sounds as if the move will be a positive one and being closer to your kids, not to mention having the support of friends is great for heart and mind!

I will keep you in my thoughts and hope that great job is just lurking, awaiting your arrival to Houston!
